Serif and Gulbahar Kaya, owners of the Ottoman Cuisine, have a long history of bringing fine Turkish cuisine to Canberra. Serif, born in Turkey, moved to Australia in 1980 where he began to establish himself as a leading chef. With the Ottoman, he and his team have been able to realise the vision of fine dining restaurant in refined surrounds. Serif delights in expanding on a Turkish-inspired cuisine to bring his guests a wealth of flavours. Seafood is a speciality, where fresh ingredients are combined to produce exciting dishes such as, Tuna Tatar - fine slices of yellow fin tuna with oriental marinade, served on roasted eggplant. |
